Epiphany!

Right. I've finally figured it out.

  • The pics in each post must be SMALL in order to have loads of pics in this blog.
  • By clicking on a pic, a larger version can be viewed or even copied to your own machine.
  • Now that this pics issues if sorted; there WILL be more pics and posts as close to DAILY as I can!

Martlesham Heath Walk Circle Trail

Hannah and her co-workers went on this walk a few days ago. When they went, they ended up lost and walked about 3 miles further thay they should have as they went off the route. Today, we followed the map and although we lopped a bit off the route (the bit that goes down by the Deben River because it was blowing a very cold wind) we did the walk in about 3 hours. Because the trail is compact and well trodden, it would make a great bike ride which we hope to do in the summer.

Smile! or...Snore!

We went to go pick up Hannah at work today and Kai wanted to take a picture with my camera, and here is that moment in time that she chose to capture!

Topsy-turvy weather!

It seems as though the blossom above should indicate that we are entering the beginning of spring, but with it snowing right this minute and the weather brains calling for more cold, miserable and sleety weather over the next week, I ask Mother Nature; "What the hell you thinkin' woman?" "Global warming, honey" she would say, "and you doin' it to yerself!"

Local girl, 7, levitates in backyard. "Wow!" say flumoxed parents.

Being happy in the garden!

Pinkeye getting better!

We got the ointment for Kai's pinkeye and it seems to be doing the trick!

The Dark Tower

13 march 06 Kai was at "Rainbows" (1 rank below Brownies. Brownies leads into the Girl Guides; Girl Scouts Lite.) The pic above is the Woodbridge Town Hall (rear aspect) which houses the Woodbridge Town Council.
Same building (front aspect)

Pardon me boy, is that the Lowestoft Branch Choo Choo?

10 March 06 Jack, Kai and I went to Elmhurst Park in the centre of town while Hannah was at work. In this shot; Jack has climbed to the top of a slide in order to watch a 3-car passenger train pass by the park. This boy, he do love his trains!

Nanook of Suffolk

11 March 06 Jack and I went to Melton Field in Melton to while away the time as Kai was at theatre class. 1c at 12noon had Jack in his hood fulltime. He's smiling, really!

A lovely d-d-day for the b-b-beach !

We took Jack to a birthday party for a friend of his from preschool and Kai and I went to the beach. Obviously from the picture it is not a sandy beach. This is a shingle beach. Shingle is the name for the, mainly, flint pebbles that naturally make up a large % of coastline in this area. Gorgeous stones, shopwreck coal and amber are found on these shingle beaches.

It was really cold this day. It's about 2 in the afternoon when this pic was taken on 11 March 06 and it was only 1c! Sharp 15mph winds out of the NNE watered the eyes! Nice deep colour to the heinous snow clouds bearing down on us!
