Local boy, 4, regales family with tales of zombies in nearby woods. Listeners mesmerised.

"They tried to get me but I kicked them and they died and their blood came out! Mormor pay attention!"

Smiley kids!

Sleeping in drawers? That is SOOO Tokyo!

Bedtime comes and I get the kids washed, brushed and off to bed.

Hannah comes home from work and goes to kiss the kids goodnight.

"Where's Jack?", she calls down to me.

"He's either gone to rob the liquor store or he's asleep in his bedroom!" I reply while thinking to myself "Where the hell else does she think he is!"

Well, after about 7 minutes of looking around a tiny bedroom for one of two children we figure that Jack had to climb in and Kai had to close the drawer...This is where Hannah found Jack sound asleep.

Green thumbs and all that.

Mowed the grass today. Also trimmed back some big/long stemmed plans that has yellow flowers similar in size, colour and shape to those that Hindus are sometimes seen throwing into The Ganges or at parades/processions in documentaries on India - Land of mysteries and the like.

The flowers at right are the neighbours. I'll ask her if she minds if I take a pic of her garden to post here. She's got a classic English gottage garden. Very nice!

Oh what a beautiful day!

It really is; 75f, sunny, 8-13mph breeze, birds and bees displaying an unnatural and freightening attraction towards each other and a fine layer of pollen from the yellow Oil Seed Rape* plant adorns the car. I wonder if we can get enough yellow pollen on a blue car to turn the vehicle green?

*Oil Seed Rape is a cash crop across large swathes of this great and mighty land.

Absolutely miserable day.

Rainy/heavy mist.

Not warm but not cold.

Looks to be more of the same for Monday.

"Double Patience" aka "Future Present"

How can I bring comment to this image which makes countless statements on its own! Breathtaking!

A clean mota, is a 'appy mota!

Hannah, putting a scrub on the car.

Rincey rincey.

Kids, lovin' it.

Ow, gawd thats heavy.

We went to Audreys to help out with a few jobs in her garden. Of the more common jobs in Audreys garden are the moving of two of the heaviest pieces of garden furniture in the known universe. A grey concrete birdbath as seen in the upper right corner of the pic above, with the other item being the dark ex-water fountain which has a new life as a raised planter (seen next to Kai, below).

Buzz buzz!

These guys, Apache "Longbow" helicopters from RAF Wattisham which lies about 15miles to our east, are becoming a more frequent sight and sound in the skies over Woodbridge.

Also whizzing about is the yellow Search And Rescue "Sea King" helicopter also out of RAF Wattisham.

Orwell Country Park

From time to time, we venture southwest out of Woodbridge to the Copleston area of Ipswich to a place called Orwell Country Park (OCP). OCP has a half-dozen or so groomed and maintained paths through old-grown pine and deciduous forest and some which lead down to the banks of the River Orwell*. A lovely walk/picnic spot!

*For those in the $tates: think in terms of w-i-d-e Intracoastal or New Paltz section of the Hudson with the robust nose of Long Island Sound. Mmmm!

The picture of Kai (right) was taken at a spot about 250ft from the entrance of OCP. I'm not sure of the name of the place but it is a hill which looks like a massive earthen launch ramp. This is where the pic of Kai was taken!

This pic, taken on the same day, is of Kai and Jack playing at the foot of the big hill whose name we know not.

What a looker!

Theres this great photo spot near our house; an alley with a nice old yellow Suffolk brick wall. Whether it is 12noon on a sunny day or late evening, this place gets a really even and ethereal light...everywhere with no discernable source! oooOOOOoooooohhhh!

Here's some shots of Jack with Kai to follow soon.

For this one I asked him to make a tiny smile!

This is a nice one to finish on as it is actually the first shot I took of Jack for this session.

Lovely weather...Lets menace the park!

Weather-wise, it has been spectacular for the past few days and me and the squids have been going to the park for several hours at a time.

Im starting to have more of an appreciation for just what my D50 can do; I've started to take it out of AUTO mode more often and have been playing around with Aperture and Shutter Speeds and the Spot Metering feature. Hopefully, the shots will get more creative and profeshinul looking!

IT'S EEEEEAAAAASTER! Where's my chocolate?

Easter arrived to Ferry Road with all those in attendance expressing theocratic thoughts appropriate to the occasion; "Oh God, these kids sure can scream loud" and "Jesus please, get that *buuurp* chocolate bunny away from me!" Amen!

Happy birthday to vous!

Hannah had her birthday celebrated at Mark and Jette's house with the cakey bit down in the woods after all the girls returned from a "jaunt" to Mersey for a lovely luncheon and luxurious ride in a strrrrrrrretch limo! A lovely time was had by all!
